Painting water colours with Old Gregg in his cave
G: I'm glad you decided to do some water colours with me right here, right now. In Gregg's place.
K: *mumbles* Well...you didn't exactly let me leave after that incident on the boat....
G: Beggin' ya pardon?
K: Oh, what?! Nothing, just talking to myself...So, Gregg...How's your painting coming along?
G: Good. Almost finished. By the way, you thirsty? I got some Baily's? Nice creamy beige.
K: I'm under age....
G: *shrugs*
K: *leans over* Wow, you've painted quite a bit. You're pretty talented! Personally, I find water colours hard to manipulate. How long have you been painting?
G: Long time. When you live in the waters of Black Lake with no chums to hang with as long as I have, you tend to pick up some hobbies.
K: Oh....why don't you try going up to the surface and make some friends?
G: Are you blind, child? Haven't you taken a good look at me? I'm Old Gregg, the legendary scaly man fish! No one wants to be friends with me. I freak people out!
K: You're not that freaky....
G: Don't lie to me, boy!
K: *sigh*How many time do I have to tell you? I'm a girl! And I'm not lying. You're just um...unique.
G: Explain.
K: Well...You're very solitary and independent for one thing. I mean, you can keep yourself entertained pretty well. You're an excellent painter and a great dancer. You're also capable of taking care of yourself and your cave. You just have to be more social.
G: Tell me how to be more social.
K: You could stop tipping people's boats over and try talking to them instead, for starters.
G: But I like tipping people's boats over.
K: People don't appreciate that, you know. It's rude. That's why everyone's are afraid of you.
G: You're not afraid of me.
K: No. I'm not.
G: I got something to show ya. *shows self portraits* I call this one "Old Gregg." And I call this one "Old Gregg!"
K: Wonderful.
G: *shows the back side of another painting* Do you know what I call this one?
K: Er...Old Gregg?
G: *turns it over and reveals a painting of Old Gregg and Kayla* "Old Gregg and friend"
K: Awww, that's sweet! ^_^

I've never seen Old Gregg but I'm glad you chose this conversation for your blog share. The only problem I have is that when I read it, Old Gregg didn't have the same distinct voice as he did when you read it out loud, but that could've been different if I had read the blog first. Overall I thought this conversation was humourous and entertaining.
